St. Neots, Cambridgeshire
St. Neots is the largest town in Cambridgeshire with a
population of some 30,000 residents. St. Neots is a thriving and
growing market town with a vibrant local economy. The town is
located on the A1 between Bedford (14 miles) and Cambridge (16
miles). St. Neots is linked to London on the main east coast rail line
with Kings Cross only 45 minutes away. Both Luton Airport and Stansted
Airport are nearby being only 24 and 32 miles away
respectively.
Whilst the road and rail links are of major importance and
travellers often break their journeys in the town, it is
undoubtedly the River Great Ouse which draws the majority of
visits to St. Neots. Boating, fishing and picnicking in the
Riverside Park, with its free parking, are equally popular.
The riverside and its nearby Market Square, linked by the
town bridge, is the hub of St. Neots and its history.
The present town consists, not only of St. Neots itself, but
also includes Eaton Ford, Eaton Socon and Eynesbury. Official City of
